Auckland Dress Designer Anna Schimmel has started an initiative to donate a portion or a certain percentage of all March sales to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal and I'm thrilled to see a lot of fellow NZ Wedding Vendors take part. Living at the other end of the country it's easy to feel a bit helpless so this is just one... albeit very small... way of doing something towards helping the people of Christchurch recover. There are already several photographers offering discounts as well as my good friend Judit (her of the amazing baby shower goodness!!) from Artisan Cakes, makeups artists and I'm sure there will be more to come. New Zealand vendors, I urge you to join in and give a helping hand. For my part the discount will be for all orders, national or international, so if you live outside New Zealand and want to give a helping hand I would only be too glad to assist :-) And if you want to read more about the Earthquake click here. Christchurch is still experiencing aftershocks of over magnitude 4 every day so they're living in unimaginable terror. Thank you all so VERY much for helping spread the word!
so generous!! this is why you are one amazing human being!
ReplyDeleteI've always known that you were special so I am not surprised that you are doing this. It confirms that I was right about you from the start. Busy days get in the way, but know that I have adored you since day one. You are truly a good friend and I thank you for all you do. No good deed, seen or unseen, goes unnoticed. xo
ReplyDeleteThank you! From all of us here in Christchurch, your generosity is so appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know what we'd do without all the support we've seen coming in from around NZ and internationally. Thank you again.
Love this. Obviously love it... Support can come from everywhere, anywhere. You just need willing people to participate!
ReplyDeleteI can't even begin to imagine how people in Christchurch are right now... Today i saw on the news that there was another aftershock... my heart is New Zealand... A beautiful country that I now call my second home...
