Morning kids... did you have a nice weekend? We sweltered here in record high temps... although amazingly enough it was in the south of the south that hit the crazy heights of 40 degrees (105 for all your fahrenheit folk!!) which is simply unheard of! Around here it was not nearly that hot but incredibly muggy and sticky... just downright uncomfortable at times. I had a relatively work free weekend which makes a nice change... and was all part of my plan for this year so I'm kinda pleased I'm sticking to it a bit more. And this coming weekend we're heading south for the Sting concert which I'm super excited about, so another weekend off... which means a short week for me so I'm off to get work done!!
We're kick starting the week with a lovely summery wedding from Claire Mossong. Beth & Jimmy were married under a big oak tree in Auckland's lovely Cornwall Park, followed by a reception at Carringtons. Beth's dress was an amazing $6 (yes that's not a typo!!) from an Op Shop, which she had altered by A La Robe. Just goes to show you that a big budget dress is absolutely NOT a pre-requisite to looking gorgeous! I love these playful images of the girls in the field... so fun!! I love this dress. I am so into resale shops. Learned to shop at resale shops from a rich lady who still shops there. Very cute dress!
