Board #128: Lace & Moss

This colour scheme seriously floats my boat!! These images scream out to my rustic, a bit rough around the edges yet still pretty sensibilities. And what I really love is that it's great for both bride and groom, masculine enough so as not to offend your man, pretty enough to satisfy a girly girl.

Board#126: Red Wine & Sea Mist

It's late as I right this up... ok see that's how late... write this up, and I need toothpicks to keep my eyes open so I have few words for you today. I have so many invitation suites still to share with you from the past few months but our weather isn't playing ball which means I haven't been able to do photo shoots, so in the meantime another inspiration board for you. Have a super day people!!

Board#49: Spring Awakening

Morning folks!! Despite the fact that it is one very miserable rainy morning here in NZ, I am feeling in a spring kinda mood. Might have something to do with all the excited tweets and blog posts I keep seeing about spring weddings in the northern hemisphere! Or it could be the fact that Saturday was a little patch of brightness between the rain and for my lovely client Erica it simply could not have been a more stunning day.... which I was thrilled about. I got out and did a spot of shopping, which is something I haven't done much of late.... and for good reason.... money was spent! But hey food for the soul right? If you follow me on Twitter you may just see a couple of peeks at what caught my eye! Remember if you want to see all our Inspiration Boards in one place you can check them out in our Facebook Albums too.
This board reminds me off a fresh, cool spring morning.... warm buttery blooms, crisp white linen, the scent of just mown grass.... new beginnings.... kinda like a wedding! Have a good day everyone!

Board#14: Ethereal Beauty

Happy Monday everyone!
I love the combination of this palest of blues (aquamarine) with white, it has such an ethereal quality to it. Whilst white features in almost every wedding as an accent, when you introduce different textures and shades it has a whole new element to it and could easily be used throughout your wedding design. Bouquets could be all white with different textures; think magnolia, roses, babys breath, hydrangeas, ranunculus, peonies ....you wouldn't be short of options! The aquamarine in this adds another dimension, rather than use as an all out accent colour, just subtle hints of the colour does the trick.
