Round up | Statement Necklaces

Statement Necklaces have come and gone in fashion throughout the years, but generally for weddings brides have worn more subtle, delicate jewellery around the neck... a pearl necklace, simple solitaire or likewise. For the past couple of years however, the statement necklace has been making a big comeback and I for one am a huge fan! From more bridal shades of pearl, ivory and metallics right through to more vibrant shades of any colour under the sun. And you needn't spend an awful lot of money on this, there are so many fabulous options available out there these days. What do you think... would you wear one?

Jewels to behold....

Ok so my Christmas wishlist just got blown out of all reality - although I guess that's why it's called a 'wish' list! I am loving not only these beautiful engagement rings from Greg Fromont but also the collection of contemporary jewellery from Meadlowlark that is designed by Greg and his wife Claire. We featured Greg and Claire's fabulous wedding here a couple of weeks back and were so wowed by their beautiful jewellery designs we just had to share. Check out there websites here and here, there really is something for everyone from the quaint swallow pendants to funky serpent cocktail rings. There are no limitations when it comes to what's available. Greg will work with you to create a truly one off design in a range of different metals and gemstones. You are truly a talented combination!

AmberSky Jewelry

Jewelry doesn't have to be an expensive addition to your wedding outfit. Etsy is a great place to find some unique pieces at prices that won't break the budget. I recently came across AmberSky's shop and she has pretty vintage style pieces....here's a selection of my favourites.
