Outfit of the week - Glamming it up

Oooh how I love this pretty gold dress... perfect for this time of year with all the Christmas events happening. And with that lovely little pop of seafoam, it's quite delicious!! Of course this is the perfect outfit to add a little touch of red to... whether it be lips or nail, or heck, let's go all out and do both. It's the festive season afterall!!

Board#191: Seafoam & Navy

I love how these colours lend a bold modern look to a wedding. I'm not usually into modern weddings per say but sometimes they just grab me. Seafoam is usually seen in more subtle colour palettes so it's nice to see it with something with a bit more punch... especially with this injection of vibrant orange.

Board#134: A sweet touch...

One of these days I'm going to post some stationery... really I am. I have such a backlog of jobs to share with you but really just haven't had the time to shoot any of it. And then when I do, the lighting isn't right!
Don't you just love the colours in this board? Feminine with a slight vintage tone. I especially love the flowers in the gumboots!! And that chaise... I think we all need one of those in our bedrooms!! I'm so glad today is Friday... the week has disappeared, it's been so busy I'm looking forward to the weekend to recharge! Have a lovely day xo

Board#49: Spring Awakening

Morning folks!! Despite the fact that it is one very miserable rainy morning here in NZ, I am feeling in a spring kinda mood. Might have something to do with all the excited tweets and blog posts I keep seeing about spring weddings in the northern hemisphere! Or it could be the fact that Saturday was a little patch of brightness between the rain and for my lovely client Erica it simply could not have been a more stunning day.... which I was thrilled about. I got out and did a spot of shopping, which is something I haven't done much of late.... and for good reason.... money was spent! But hey food for the soul right? If you follow me on Twitter you may just see a couple of peeks at what caught my eye! Remember if you want to see all our Inspiration Boards in one place you can check them out in our Facebook Albums too.
This board reminds me off a fresh, cool spring morning.... warm buttery blooms, crisp white linen, the scent of just mown grass.... new beginnings.... kinda like a wedding! Have a good day everyone!

Board#17: Seafoam and Buttermilk

Oh how I love this colour combo....so pretty....and of course I just had to continue with my love affair with yellow! I'm hoping that if I 'think yellow' long enough, that big ball of it in the sky might make an appearance sometime this month (yup it's been that dire!). I think these colours lend themselves quite well to a whimsical affair, especially with those fantastic pinwheels! I love how the seafoam shade just tones the yellow down from being all together too sweet....a touch of grey in there would also be nice. And of course pitchers of lemonade - you can't go wrong!

Board#12: Seafoam & Coral

This is my favourite colour scheme at the moment, it's so fresh and pretty and unexpected. So many different shades of coral to play with and the seafoam tones compliment it perfectly. Perfect for a spring or summer wedding, imagine how much fun you would have dressing bridesmaids in these colours - perhaps using both, or in different shades of the one. Different styles of dresses would look great too.
