Board#151: Woodland Whimsy

Good morning!! Did you all have a nice weekend? I know it's Tuesday but I'm getting lost in the days at the moment. This past week has been mentally busy and by the weekend I was so tired I had to catch up on some much needed sleep to recoup!! Besides that there were some very important rugby games that had to be watched... I'm already very nervous about the upcoming game this Saturday!!
I have had this board sitting around for EVER and I'm really not sure why I haven't posted it before as it's one of my favourite looks. I love the eclectic and rustic nature of it. It's all a bit rambling and mis matched which adds up to the perfect look in my books! Nothing is overdone, it's a little rough around the edges like nature intended!! And rather than go for all earthy colours, by bringing in a touch of the lavender or lilac shades it adds just the right amount of pretty to it!! Right kids I've gotta get back to it, but hopefully I manage a few more posts this week!!

Board#103: Birch & Birds Eggs

Do these colours get you guys as excited as they do me? It's just so rich and warm and inviting, it totally draws me in! I am crazy over those birch logs used as escort card holders... unfortunately we don't get a lot of birch around these parts... if we did I'd be using it for all sorts of home decor ideas. What do you think... is this a colour combo you'd go with for your wedding?

Board#46: Terracotta Blues

Morning folks! Did you have a nice weekend? Any weekend is a good weekend in my books. Even though I work from home, and rarely a day goes by without me popping in to do something work related, it still feels different. The pressures off and I can work at my leisure a little more. Sometimes I even get more done!! Especially on a windy, rainy weekend such as we've just had. The first in a very long time!
Today's board has a bit of a different colour scheme. I love lilac hues with a deep navy blue but through a rustic terracotta in the mix, and it adds a whole other dimension to the look. Perfect for that outdoors rustic wedding with a pretty girl touch!
Have a fabulous Monday, let's hope the week gets off to a good start!
