6 gorgeous single bloom bouquets

I've been seeing more and more single bloom bouquets lately so I've put together some of my favourites. I think to make this look work you need a flower that packs a punch, and it's all about proportion. A flower that's too small and insignificant looking simply won't do. And who says it has to be real? The top right one is made from linen and tulle... who would know right? What's your favourite? I'm not sure I can go past the giant protea or magnolia... they're just so stunning.

I may not be a photographer but oh what I'd give to attend one of Jose Villa's workshops!! He has just been so sweet to deal with for {MAG}rouge and I know from speaking to a few lucky peeps who have attended one of these workshops that he is every bit as nice in person, and also incredibly generous with his talent and knowledge. Kate Grewal was one such lucky person and I'm thrilled to be able to share her gorgeous work from a workshop she attended a few months back. As Kate herself said "What an amazing day it was learning from the master himself:)  It truly was an unforgettable experience." Naturally with Jill La Fleur's impeccable styling thrown into the mix, you can't go wrong. It's truly a match made in heaven and has made for some seriously dreamy images. Thanks for sharing Kate :-)

Board#192: Country Chic

Hello!! Did you all have a lovely weekend? After a crazy week last week with the launch of Issue 3 of {MAG}rouge, I gave myself the whole weekend off which was fabulous!! Lots of reading, movie watching, napping, lunching, walks with Charlie (including one unplanned one around the neighbouring properties when she went walkabout for an hour!! Panic and tears ensued I assure you!!).
Thank you so much for all your support and kind words over the magazine, it means so much to myself and the girls. I think it's had almost 100 shares on facebook which is truly phenomenal!! The next month will see me head down on Ruby & Willow. I have several new designs to photograph and get up on the site, and possibly a new blog design as well. Now that we're well and truly into winter I need to make the most of these cooler days to get things done!
