Board#222: Copper Mint

My love affair with Mint shows no sign of slowing... especially when paired with rich copper shades like this!! Isn't it divine? The colour of the these models hair is just stunning!!

Bohemian Garden Shoot by Peaches & Mint

I have a lovely dose of pretty for you this morning... all the way from Austria! (Oh how I love Austria!!). Pia Clodi from Peaches & Mint sent over this sweetest of shoots in one of my favourite colour combos of the moment... it's simply delicious!!

From Pia: So we wanted to show some garden wedding inspiration - relaxed but bohemian inspired and with a little bit of peach and mint on our mind colorwise. Little affordable details like old books, typewriters and vintage suitcases, as well as "something old" - granny's handbag to accompany a set of young fresh vendors like Elfenkleid (dress designer), Das Weddings by Niely Hoetsch (headpiece) and the talented Blumengestalten (flowers & vases).

Board#217: Spring Sage

Sadly we can't quite be celebrating spring around here yet but any day now surely (yes there is more than a hint of begging in that sentence!!). Doesn't this make for the most serene colour palette for your wedding? I can see this being used across a broad range of wedding styles; from a beach wedding to a vineyard wedding, and even a more modern industrial theme. The white flowers en masse are just sensational!!
I'm taking the day off to spend with my 10 year old niece whilst it's school holidays so we'll be off having fun and exploring with Charlie somewhere!!

Board#154: Vintage Sorbet

Morning lovelies!! I felt like something a bit bright and spring like today, and I think these muted sorbet colours are just the trick! I have a crazy busy week ahead getting jobs out and trying to work my way through my to-do list. I sat down and wrote it last night... breaking it up between home,  garden, business (split into blog, current jobs, letterpress, special project, special project 2, & accounts) and personal well being. Phew I have 94 things on that list! Daunting to say the least. Hopefully I can cross at least 5 of those items off today. Wish me luck!

Board#133: Playful Pattern

Hello and Happy Monday to you all! Did you have a nice weekend? I was very happy to have my husband return home after a week away and even more happy when I saw his face (as I spied on him through the window as he drove down the drive) when he clocked the surprise I had planned for him. I asked my parents (avid gardeners!!) to help me do a section of the garden that we've been planning for a while and I just knew Jon's heart wasn't in it (he'd rather be on the golf course!) so thought I'd get it done by the experts... the parents! And I really did have all intentions of helping but it was very limited!! Ok I bought the plants, end of! My Mum travelled for business a few times a year when we were growing up and my Dad would always plan a surprise for her return... like the carpet layers coming in the hour after she'd left for the airport to redo the house and things like that. And whilst I 'm hoping this doesn't have to set a precedent for every time he goes away it was certainly fun to see the reaction. And for someone who doesn't usually react too excitedly to things... he was pretty damn stoked at this. The thought of being saved days slogging it out digging up hideously clay soaked soil did it! And he's spent the rest of the weekend looking out the window like a kid at Christmas... admiring his trees!! That should get me a good few brownie points for some time :-)

Board#132: Dapper Delight

This is another of those boards that I stared at for hours (ok well not hours but it truly felt like it) trying to draw something out of it for the name... and with the husband away my back up was gone! So the name comes from the straw boater hat which I always think of as being very dapper! Naff right? Anyway probably best to focus on the pretty images not the name :-)

Board#20: Country Charm

Happy Tuesday.....hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend.....I was positively euphoric to wake up to streaming sunshine on Saturday!! Mmmm we're back to rain right now, but it was glorious while it lasted!

This board evolved into something completely different to what I originally had in mind, but I think I prefer it! A little bit vintage, a little bit rustic and a lot pretty..... my kind of wedding. Outdoors, long banquet tables, handpicked posies, vintage china.....I'm particularly fond of the beautiful shell coloured glass with the silver cake stand - such a lovely and delicate combination. Would love to do an invitation suite in it. Anyone?
