Board#44: Emerald & Tutu

Afternoon folks, hope you all enjoyed a lovely weekend. What did you get up to? For those of you in my neck of the woods I hope you made the most of what could be the last sunny weekend? Although they - they being the weather people! - keep saying that, but the sun keeps on shining. I can't believe the good run we've had for months now. It made for a perfect early morning dawn service down on the beach yesterday, followed up with a leisurely breakfast and walk on the beach. And then relaxing on a friends sunny deck for the afternoon...my kinda Sunday.
Now we're back into it, I have a busy week ahead with the Bride & Groom show on this Sunday at Ellerslie. It's the first time I've done this show so I'm excited to see what it's all about.
Today's board was sparked by an emerald image that caught my eye and I realised it's a colour you don't see used too often these days although I think that's actually changing. You often see rosey pinks paired with sage greens which I love, or a brighter fuchsia pink with a chartreuse, but for something a little different I think this soft ballet slipper pink is the perfect accompaniment to the vibrant emerald green. What do you think?
