Real Wedding: Anna + Tim II

We're back with more of this gorgeous wedding by Fiona Andersen. Anna is one talented bride - she actually designed and made her bridesmaids dresses as she couldn't find what she wanted... impressive undertaking when there's four of them. I love the petrol blue colour of them.....something a bit different, and the girls certainly look gorgeous!

What was the inspiration for your wedding?
I wanted to get married in Timaru where all my family are and originally we were organising it from London so it made sense as I knew where everything was. We had a vintage theme to our wedding as I love beautiful old things. Dessert was served on tiered cake plates with vintage tea cups and it just looked amazing.
Any DIY/Budget elements?
I love sewing and I couldn’t find any dresses that I liked for my beautiful bridesmaids so I designed them and made them myself.
Describe your wedding flowers:
The bridesmaids and my bouquets were made by Gislinde Folkerts from Geraldine. Mine were beautiful white roses and the girls were bright pink. My Mum is a member of The South Canterbury Floral Art Society so she and the amazing ladies from the group did all the flowers for the church and reception. They put in so much work and the flowers were amazing, it just made my day, I felt so lucky.
