Are you prepared for some gorgeous detail this morning? Settle down with a cuppa kids, we have a beautiful Kate MacPherson wedding coming up, and to switch things up we're heading straight for all the delightful details first up. I'm sure it's no surprise that I adore Kate's photos and these certainly don't disappoint!! She shot Veronica & Jamie's wedding on the day of a tornado so it was all a bit of an adventure on the photo shoot when that hit all of a sudden and they found themselves scrambling for the forest whilst trees fell around them!! The lovely bride shares some details with us...

Tell us about your proposal:

I was half way through making dinner one night when he arrived home and insisted we go out for a meal instead. He then took me up to Mount Victoria and as we were looking down on the twinkling city lights below, he popped the question. After that we headed into town and celebrated with some bubbly.
Tell us about finding your wedding dress:
My dress was made by Mum and I. I chose a simple design and found the perfect lace fabric to go with it. Mum and I spent every Sunday for months working on the dress.
What was the inspiration for your wedding?
Jamie and I both love and appreciate the simple things, so I knew our wedding should reflect that.  We also enjoy the countryside and being out in nature. These ideas influenced our choice of venue, which was a little historic country hall.  The location then influenced other elements such as decorations.  I wanted to express my creativity and love of handmade.  A 'simple country wedding' I guess was an idea I had in mind to bring those elements together.
