I feel I must apologise to my Northern Hemisphere readers for putting all these summery inspiration boards in front of you when you're freezing in what I've heard are very chilly temps. Although perhaps it's a good thing... looking at all the bright sunny images may just warm you up!! Here's hoping! I just adore the combination of yellows and greens in this board... especially with a touch of warm grey to anchor the colours a little and stop them becoming too insipid. Naturally this would suit an outdoor wedding (in fact I think that's what I visualise for 90% of my boards!), bridesmaids in sweet tea-length dresses, parasols to shade from the sun, vases full of fragrant gardenias, jasmine and hyacinths or perhaps a pretty garden rose, jugs of fresh lemonade and pimms to quench the thirst, and perhaps a game of croquet to entertain the guests while the bride and groom take photos.

Keep all the summery gorgeousness coming, Kate. So darn pretty!
Gorgeous board, as ALWAYS! I love that you included grey - often an anchor color is overlooked and it's so necessary with the light palettes. [in my not-very-color-experienced experience, anyway ;)]
too cute!!! i love the summery palette of light yellow + melon!
Sure could use one of those days here in SoCal. Love the colors and the spring like feel of the board. xo
It's not looking anywhere like the weather today in NZ so I am loving a bit of sunshine on your blog Kate :)
This board is simply lovely! So yummy and cheery with that sunshine yellow! Very pretty!
These sunny yellow boards are perfect for chasing away gray day blues! I love them!
