Elegant Winter Wedding

I've been dying to bring this gorgeous winter wedding from Fiona Andersen to your faces for some time now... if you saw my guest post over on Valley & Co recently you will have seen a sneak peek at the gorgeousness that is Annaliesse!! Isn't she just stunning... and haven't these photos of Fiona's captured her and the surroundings beautifully? Married at The Thomas Brown Art Gallery in Arrowtown, and then followed up with a reception at The Winehouse & Kitchen in Queenstown, I love the old worldy feeling to some of these shots... they're almost a little Mad Men esque.
Neal & Annaliesse met in a ski queue down in Queenstown, and got engaged on the summit of the same mountain so it only made sense to follow up with a wedding surrounded by family and friends in the mountains. The Winehouse & Kitchen in set in the gorgeous Gibbston Valley and is renown for it's fabulous food and wine which was an important factor for two self professed foodies such as these!

With a two year engagement the couple had plenty of time to spend collecting ideas, and scouring Trade Me and Vintage Shops for props... so much so that doilies and luggage tags began taking over their house Annaliesse tells me! Sarah from The Flower Room in Queenstown use single stems such as ranunculus, tulip and roses, and displayed them in milk bottles and antique jars. The bouquets were all finished with twine and buttons and the boutonnieres were spottyguinea fowl feathers with buttons.

Annaliesse's stunning dress is from Jane Yeh, and as a lovely sentimental touch the french lace jacket was Neal's Mum which she wore on her own wedding day, and the fur coat was her late Grandmothers. The fascinator was made by Urban Turbans.

Absolute gorgeousness!!
