I know we're just a wee bit beyond Christmas and all talk of Secret Santa's, however this particular gift was well worth the wait. Together with some of my favourite bloggers I took part in a Secret Santa exchange with bloggers around the globe. After the New Year when I still hadn't received it I had a message from my secret santa saying there had been some issues and my gift would be a little late. I know only too well that international shipping can be horrendously expensive so I kinda felt bad for the poor person who got the short end of the stick with the furthermost recipient! Last week Judit Meron from Artisan Cakes (she of the fabulous baby shower onesies cookies!!) mailed me to say she had a delivery for me which thoroughly puzzled me as I don't really know anyone who would delivery something for me to Judit. The very same day I emailed my Secret Santa to let her know I hadn't received anything, just so she didn't think I hadn't thanked her. Then I put two 'n' two together and worked it out. So this is what was waiting for me on my return from Melbourne, beautifully made by Judit and so very thoughtfully planned and researched by Katie Saegar from Simply & Forever. See what I mean about being worth the wait... aren't they just the coolest thing ever? They look way too good to eat... although I will say they also taste fantastic!! I couldn't have asked for a better gift! Thanks ladies xo
