My 1000th post Stationery giveaway!!

Ok so I passed the 1000 mark last week but with everything going on with {MAG}rouge I just didn't quite get to this but hey a late giveaway is better than no giveaway right? Speaking of which have you visited the {MAG}rouge facebook page yet? This gorgeous gold cuff is one of our giveaways to celebrate our launch!! To be in to win you need to visit one of the wedding blogs that is participating in the giveaway and tag them into a comment on our wall.

So who would have thought when I started this blog that I ever get to 1000 posts!! Certainly not me... I just thought I'd throw up a few shots of my stationery every now and again! But woah, it's been such a ride and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for visiting, supporting and leaving lovely comments, so I think it's only fair that I give a little back, and since stationery is a passion of mine, I've got two prizes of a whole lot of papery goodness!! And who doesn't love paper pretties!! Details of what the prize includes is at the bottom of the post... but now for the rules!!

1. To enter, simply leave a comment here or on the Ruby & Willow facebook page and let me know who you would send a handwritten notecard to and why? And whether you prefer the pink or the green! Please ensure you leave a valid email address.

2. For a second entry 'like' {MAG}rouge on facebook here and let me know in your comment that you've done so (I know, I know it's shameless but if I don't promote my new ventures no one else will :-)

3. And for a third entry simply share this giveaway on Twitter or Facebook. On Twitter tweet... "I just entered to win some fabulous stationery from @rubyandwillow. Enter to win here http://ht.ly/7tKc5  #giveaway

A winner will be announced on Saturday 19th (NZ time) Best of luck!!
(giveaway open to all readers)

The giveaway includes a Snow & Graham notebook, a Wooster & Prince notecard wallet, a set of Paper Source notecards, a set of Snow & Graham coasters (or a Wooster & Prince Memo Pad in the green one), 3 giftbags, mini tea tin from Harney teas, and a set of Ruby & Willow botanical notecards.

I would send a handwritten note card to my mum thanking her for everything she has done for me over the years and for everything she still does for me. Mother's are taken for granted alot of the time so I would send a notecard to show how much I appreciate her.

Can't decide what I prefer, they are both beautiful so I would probably buy them both! ;-)

Also I 'liked'the new {MAG}rouge Facebook page! and Tweeted!

Yay for 1000 posts! That is fabulous! I love to send hand written notes to my Grandma. She grew up in a world without email and adores when any of the grand children take the time to send something through the actual mail! Honestly I love both colors, but I think I'd go with the pink.

Kate/MagnoliaRouge said...

Hi Veronica... yes it's open to all readers :-)

I would definitely send it to my parents, I seriously owe them everything, they've been my back bone throughout my life and they still continue to be there for me no matter what (distance and all)!

They're both beautiful, but the green one is winning me over :)

I would send handwritten notes to my best friend back home in the US, to let her know I love her and think of her all the time even though we haven't seen each other in years.

I've liked {MAG}rouge on FB with two accounts (my personal and my blog) and tweeted about the giveaway!

Thanks for the opportunity to win such a lovely package -- I think the pink one is what I would pick, although it's SO hard to choose since they're both so pretty!

Amanda said...

Just beautiful!

I'd prefer the pink and would send it to my friend who lives out of town - we used to regularly e-mail posting something would be special!

I have also liked the facebook page and tweeted :)

Hi Kate!

I would LOVE the green set. I've recently moved to Oz with my husband after getting married and left my Nanny (grandma version, not child minder version) behind in Ireland.

She's having a hard time coping with our departure and us not being around for Christmas. I would use the set to send home a letter to be given to her on Christmas day at the time I usually go and visit her. I just want her to know I love and miss her. Whoa... little emotional here.

Anyway, back at the ranch... I am so pleased that your blog is rockin' and have fun sifting through the give away entries... They all look pretty awesome.

P.S. those brownies in a jar? making them this weekend. I'll tweet you a pic.

Oh and I've liked your page on Bakebook and tweeted the link so that entitles me to thrice the chance of winning! Excited.

Good luck everyone!

xo

I would LOVE to win one of your stationary packs and would send a handwritten note to my bestie Jessica, in New Zealand who is the most amazing friend and who has had an extremely rough year and who I miss immensely, just to tell her I love her!!

If I won the (pink) stationary pack, I would also send handwritten notes to all of my family in NZ for Christmas telling them how much I miss them and how I wish I wasnt quite so far away (UK) for the third Christmas running.

Everyone deserves a handwritten stamped envelope to slip through their postbox every now and then, there is nothing more feel good, especially on Ruby & Willow stationary!!!

I have already liked your Mag Rouge page, cant wait for the launch and have shared this comp on facebook too!!

Fingers crossed xxx

Thanks Kate for your generosity!

Oh my goodness they're just divine! Love the green.. I've never grown out of getting excited by stationary..even down to a new pen!

Already like the {MAG}rouge page.. does that count? hehe!

I love sending handmade cards to my family and friends back in England. But this time I would send my handwritten note to my Grandparents. It's their 69th Wedding Anniversary (Yup... sixty nine whole years together) on the 27th November. They still hold hands every night watching Coronation Street and my Grandma still tells stories of how they fell in love. They truly are an inspiration :-)

Eleanor / Jel said...

Even though they're both lovely, I love the green set a teeny bit more. I love writing letters and sending mail to people - it beats receiving an email every time. So if I won I'd write to my family in the UK just in time for Christmas.

Can't wait for the launch - I've liked the facebook page. Good luck with it all!

I would send a thank you note to my partner's and my parents. They have done so much for us in helping us set ourselves up from when we started dating to when we moved in together, then when we had our first child and today. They are always there for us and we are so lucky to have such a supportive and loving family :-) I love the green set! Many thanks, Angela Beaumont olliepop@hotmail.co.nz xx

I love this idea... there should be more handwritten notes in the worlds day to day. I actually have my boys send thank you notes to teach them that it is good etiquette... so they would probably be used to help them say thank you to somebody who had done something nice for them in the last bit. I would probably use them in a photoshoot and then I would set an example for the boys (see? how's that for efficient) by using them to say thanks to all the team members... they always get a little something.

Pink and green are the fave colours of this household, so either works for me. I have already liked and done a write up for MAG rouge {SOOOO excited to see... ;) no pressure}and tweeted the heck out of this and the GORGEOUS photo shoot above.

Huge Congrats on your 1000th!

I think they're both great, but the pink is really grabbing me for some reason. I always have someone to write a note for - a friend I haven't seen in a while or someone who just celebrated a big milestone - and I'm always looking for more great stationery to add to my collection!

I would love to send letters to my sisters. We live all over the country now, and it would be so fun to send them real letters on beautiful paper.

mariya said...

I would send letters to my dear cousin that I had no choice to leave, in Portland OR. She is the most kindest, sweetest, humblest person you could ever meet. She has stuck with me since we were little girls and she stuck up for me me in any situation and was with me through everything, even till this day. She would leave whatever she is doing and would help someone how is in need. I have not seen her in 3 months, (seems like years) and she deserves something better than an electronic mail..she deserves all the best in life.. and nothing earthly can repay her.. only God and his blessings can..
