Country style wedding by Candy Capco

We're bringing a little bit of much needed sunshine to you on this rather miserable day! This quaint country wedding from Candy Capco utilised sunflowers throughout their day to symbolise peace and happiness. I absolutely love the little cottage that they used to get ready in... I'd like one of those in my garden please? And how adorable is that sweet cake on the rustic bucket? Love it! Thanks so much Candy for sharing this with us!

From Megan, the bride: Sunflowers are symbolic of adoration and they turn their heads to the sun, which is the origin of their common name. They adore the sun. Together with hay bales we have a country, fun-rolling-in-the-hay-atmosphere with the core values of marriage. This was what we based our theme on. Rustic, country fun! The Venue, Pounui Homestead was perfect for this, naturally, as it has a barn and the gardens are just so lovely! We got ready at Little Branches in Featherston. A really GREAT and charming place to get ready as it just adds to the feeling of being in a fairy tale.
