Coromandel wedding by Quinn & Katie Photography

Today's wedding from Quinn & Katie Photography is tinged with such emotion, but it certainly goes to show you how beautiful and heartfelt a wedding you can pull off in as little as three weeks. Read Fee and Ben's story below... oh and take note of that gorgeous feather bodice on Fee's dress!! Beautiful!

Our wedding day was delayed as after our engagement party we decided to move on and try for little ones. At the start of 2012 on a weekend in Auckland I entertained the idea with a couple of my bridesmaids and that it could be possible to organise a wedding in 3 months to be held at Easter. With the likes of an hour or so up our sleeve before an event that afternoon we perused Modes and Juliette Hogan amongst a few. After scanning Modes bridal books I was totally inspired and I fell in love with the dress and with some swift talking as no appointment was made I able to try on, needless to say there were tears, I was in love!

A week after this amazing finding not only did I find out I was actually pregnant but also my gorgeous father was found to have terminal cancer. Wanting to have my Dad at my wedding we decided to go ahead and organise a wedding within 3 weeks before he started treatment as not knowing what the future may hold.

Our wedding was such a great lift for everyones spirits! An incredible positive distraction for all. Organising a wedding in 3 weeks really cuts out the faff!

Our wedding style was basically timeless and beautiful, Juliette Hogan Bridesmaids dresses were perfect, our preening preparations on the day went smoothly with the confidence knowing both Hairdresser Andrew Waldergave and makeup artist Shar O’Sullivan who did and an amazing job based at the gorgeous 970 Lonely Bay lodge just a few minutes down from our wedding venue/ house in Front Beach and where Ben and I would stay at the end of our night. Service was fantastic!

Decoration was basically flowers and Barb Hawken and Milenka Holwerda did a stunning job bringing the Wedding Party, house and ‘Salt Bar and Restaurant’ alive with incredible style and taste. Food and service was second to none and the band “Helmet in the Bush” the best!

It was such a fun celebration day/night we possibly couldn’t be happier with our day so so special on every level, we cant thank Quinn and Katie Photography enough for capturing our wedding we are truly overwhelmed with their beautiful pictures that captured the importance of our day. And Jono from Emerge film for the live memories.'
