Green & White Dining Style

A couple of weeks back I posted my new dining room cabinet with a neutral and white palette... well I've changed things up a bit and it's now a fresh green and white look... since summer arrived about 3 months late I figured I might as well make the most of it feeling so warm and bright. I think it's probably time to do the ol' switcheroo again though now that it's turning cooler. Thinking a rustic autumn palette may be in order. This is the very reason I wanted a unit like this so I could have fun mixing it up!

Autumn Weddings

I loved Kate's gorgeous autumn mood board. What a great time to have a wedding when the day's are crisp and clear, the nights are cold and the leaves are turning. There is always the chance of rain though, but that can easily be offset by having a venue with a fire place and using warm autumn colours.

As for flowers, I especially love the spicy scent of chrysanthemums at this season. Church arrangements of golden chrysanthemums, berried branches and autumn leaves look and smell wonderful and brighten up the gloomiest interior. You could tie in your bridal bouquets by using berries and red throated, yellow cymbidium orchids and maybe red roses. Rich and warm and perfect for the time of year.
