Introducing: Vintage

I discovered this post sitting in my drafts from months and month ago... so thought it was about time it saw the light of day!! This is my Vintage Design in a warm plum with orange. Love this colour combo!

Jo's romantic dragonfly & butterfly invitations...

I recently had the pleasure of working with the very sweet Jo on her wedding stationery. Jo and Kevin are heading to China to get married later this year followed by a reception in Melbourne, and she had such a lovely story behind the inspiration for her invitation (you can read their story over on The Knotty Bride here). Combining a vintage lace motif with a subtle repeating floral pattern, the design featured a dragonfly and butterfly to represent Jo & Kevin and their story. It was also very important according to Chinese legend that they be flying to the north east corner with the butterfly doing the chasing! Both the invitation and postcard were printed double sided and finished off with a sweet punched out corner shape, and matching printed envelopes. Thanks Jo for being such a sweetheart to work with!!

Introducing: Hopetown Fair

Ok so I think this will be the last of the new designs I share for a bit... I feel like I've overloaded you with stationery lately!! Today's design is Hopetown Fair... a whimsical, fun, don't take me too seriously invitation suite.

Introducing: Grove

Good morning Monday!! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! It was positively spring like here which was fantastic! I'm so ready for it just to be summer now!! Hopefully we don't get another cold spell before that happens... I'd be more than happy to break out the summer clothes! Today's invite is Grove... not entirely new but rejigged I guess you could say. Perfect for a wedding in a vineyard, or of course an olive grove. I love it in this neutral colour way. Introducing: Mayflower

The next new invitation in the collection I'm showcasing is Mayflower. A few weeks ago I showed Oceanside which is a bit more of a casual yet elegant beach style invite, but I wanted to do something that was a little more old school or 'stately' shall we say. My husband can lay claim to having named this one... when he said Mayflower I thought it fit perfectly. Reminds me of those beautiful old ships  and the sea voyage's people used to go on for months, with their gorgeous leather luggage and outfits chosen carefully for decadent nights up on deck! Ahhh love boat anyone (ok not quite in the same error, but still, I used to love watching them all walk up the plank!! And Gopher... who didn't love Gopher!)

Introducing: Harlow

Hi all.... ahh I'm in my last few days of sun in Fiji!!! I haven't got a board for this one as it's not a new design, but this is a fresh colour spin on it... one that I adore!! Also I'm guest posting on a couple of places today... the The Loveliest Day while Melissa is also sunning it up on the other side of the globe to me!! Be sure to head over and say hi!!
