Even though we've been living back in NZ for over 4 years now, I still occasionally bemoan (much to my husbands annoyance!) the fact that I miss London and particularly the parks. We lived around the corner from Wimbledon Common and I loved it's organic rambling nature and spent time up there whenever I could - and not much further was Richmond Park with it's herds of deer which was a novelty. But I realised walking along the beach this morning than this more than makes up for Auckland's lack of parks. It really doesn't get much better than this, hardly anyone else around, pure crisp stunning beauty! Makes the heart soar! Aren't we lucky to have this on our doorsteps.

I heart NZ!
Whilst temperatures have been incredibly chilly for Auckland this week (although I admit we get off lightly compared to most of the country :-), we can hardly complain when it looks like this can we! Before I had the business my creative outlet was photography and whilst travelling I never went anywhere without my camera. However it's been a while so this morning when I woke up to yet another pristine day I thought it was about time I made the most of it and went for a walk on the beach and explored a bit. Granted these are quick snapshots, hardly artistic beauties, but it may have just stirred something in me again??
