Real Wedding: Mon-Wei + Blair Part III

This gorgeous wedding by Emma Hughes took place on the lovely Onetangi Beach on Waiheke Island, followed by a reception at The Dunes.
Some final words of advice from the bride.....

What advice would you give out to someone planning their wedding?
You will be spending a decent chunk of cash, but you can get what you want within your budget. Think of what matters most when you are budgeting – we killed $700 off of our venue bill to live without chair covers. I wasn’t worried about those and I doubt any guests were. AND, most importantly, yes, all the stress and hard work putting it all together is totally worth it. Don’t let any drama get you down from anyone who is not your fiance/fiancee.

Most memorable moment?
The look on Blair’s face as we stood face to face at the ceremony. It WOULD have been, had I witnessed it, the fact that one of our groomsmen had two full beers in each hand and poured them over his head.

What’s next for you as a couple?
We recently bought a house and adopted a dog, so we’re enjoying life together in our new home. We’re following the conventional path and might start procreating in the next year.

Thanks to Mon-Wei & Blair for sharing your day with us, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
