Real Wedding: Sian+ Callum

Sian, the lovely bride in today's feature, is hands down the smiliest bride I've EVER seen. You can tell just by looking at these images that the entire day was a barrel of laughs!! The very sweet Jody Lidstone owns claim to this gorgeous shoot which was held up at the Copthorne in Omapere, - a complete gem of a spot in Northland. Sian says her favourite time of the day was just after the ceremony when they had their photos taken and looking at her face below you can see the happiness written all over it!
"Callum and I pretty much just grinned at each other non stop for an hour in a loved up bubble! It was really nice to have that special time with just him and our bridal party before catching up with all of our friends and family in the marquee."
Most memorable moment?
So hard to say, I think it might have been when our MC announced us as “Mr & Mrs August” when we walked into the marquee. 100 of our nearest and dearest clapped and cheered at the top of their lungs, and it was such a fun and fantastic feeling. It was like ‘Wow, we did it, we’re married….WOO HOO!!’ It truly was the best day of my life, I had an absolute blast.
What advise would you give out to someone planning their wedding?
Take it easy and enjoy every minute of it! Start planning it early so the process is an enjoyable rather than stressful one. Most weekends I seemed to be out finding cherry blossoms or sourcing the last Polaroid film left in Auckland for our photo booth, but tackling it piece by piece was fun and made it a breeze. Plus talented friends like my bridesmaids helped enormously!
