Real Wedding: Anna + Tim

We have a treat in store for you this week with two....yes two real weddings!! I know, I just made your day right? (insert sarcasm!). But really though, today is a treat as we have a stunning feature from one of my favourite ladies, Fiona Andersen. If you're not yet familiar with Fiona's work head over to her blog to check it out...and NZ brides, if you're looking for a photographer for your summer wedding, you'll have to get in quick as I hear the season is booking up fast for her. And with photos like these I'm not at all surprised. The beauty and simplicity of them lend a timeless and natural quality to your most important moments.

How did you meet?
Tim and I met in our first year of University in Dunedin. We were in the same hall of residence but we were friends for about four years before we finally got our act together.
Tell us about your proposal:
I love getting up in the morning and going for a walk but Tim loathes it. We were living in London and he offered to go walking with me but told me we would have to go at 6am because he was going to play squash after. We got up at the crack of dawn and walked up to Hampstead Heath, when we got to my favourite spot where there is a beautiful view over London and he completely surprised me getting down on one knee and proposing with an amazing ring he had chosen himself.
Tell us about finding your wedding dress:
My wedding dress was made by Louise Anderson in Christchurch. Louise made my sister’s wedding dress 2 years earlier and she did an amazing job so I was thrilled she could make mine. I had some photos and ideas of what I wanted and Louise designed an amazing dress – I just loved it!
