How did you meet?
Colin and I Met on our first day of Uni in Farnham UK & got together on our 2nd week at uni.
Tell us about your proposal:
Colin proposed to me In Raglan In New Zealand, which was the first place we visited after we moved here. Colin had booked a place called Ivy cottage that sits on a hill overlooking the sea & summer sunsets. The day consisted of a long horse ride across stunning countryside & Beaches we then came back exhausted to Raglan looking for a nice restaurant in the evening but to our surprise everywhere had closed at 9pm so we could not eat out. We decided to get what we could at the local supermarket & make dinner at Ivy Cottage. We sat outside under the Milky Way looking at the sea eating dinner when Colin got down on one knee & you can guess the rest!!
Any DIY/Budget elements?
It was all Budget we had a BBQ on the beach our Caterer cooked chicken on the wood burning BBQ’s that belonged to the regional park that went with a mix of vegan & Gluten free salads. We made the gingham tablecloths ourselves; the hanging candles from the trees were old jars I had collected. I had also collected second hand sets of Tea Cups & Saucers to give as favours & use as place settings. The guys got the saucers with a wooden spoon with their names on & the girls got the cups with a drawstring tea bag with their names written on.

Wow. Lovely colours and such cute vintage bits and pieces. Great photography and I love the brides dress/ jacket!!!
