Board#90: Blackberry Tea

Sweet Monday... how did you arrive so quickly! Did you do anything nice over the weekend? Well we made a start on our gardening... that is to say we purchased plants! That's as far as we got... planting will have to wait until next weekend. But we did manage to paint our new retaining wall which involved hours of very uncomfortable lying on concrete... and I ended up looking like a very uncool version of Debbie Harry thanks to an (accidental) upside down dip into a giant pot of black paint. Messy I can tell you!

Todays board just oozes sweet girly goodness! With yummy rose pinks, cranberry, merlot and a touch of slate grey this is sure to put a smile on the face of any girly girl... and maybe even those who aren't so much! Of course the whole giant teacup shoot by Simply Bloom is just off the charts fantastic, and whilst I know that most of you aren't about to start making yourself an oversized china replica (although hey if they can do so can you!) there are so many little details from this you can take away and make your own. The basket of wraps... such a simple idea but adds such a cute corner set up at your reception. Have fun with the wording on the sign, have it match the remainder of your stationery to tie it in, those darling menus on the kraft bags - again a simple idea to execute and one that will ensure your table setting stands out from the norm. You could also source vintage fabric to make your own napkins... using different prints within a range of colours to bring a mis-matched, whimsical feel to the table. And I do love the idea of a pie table as opposed to the dessert table... lots of mini pies. This blackberry one looks especially delish!

Check in a little later today for a gorgeous South African wedding...

How lovely! This is a perfect way to do a pink palette in the colder months (you know, without looking like spring).

Gorgeousness Kate! Wow, this is definitely added to my faves list...which just seems to be getting longer and longer with each board! Love the blackberries, they add just the perfect touch to the pink. Add that bouquet is stunning! Another amazing board my dear ;-)
