Holiday Card giveaway

Last month when I did my notecard giveaway I had such a great response I said I'd try doing them more often... so without further delay here is the next Ruby & Willow/MagnoliaRouge stationery giveaway... my first Christmas card too!! The winner will receive a digital file personalised with their photo and details, as well as a file for the printed backing and a mailing label, all for you to print on a home computer so you can print out as many copies as you like. The colour can be customised to suit. You'll see that the bottom design is slightly different with a bit more room for a personal message on the back. AND because we're heading into the season of goodwill I will choose two lucky recipients. Now in order to win please leave a comment here telling me what your favourite Christmas tradition is (and don't forget to leave an email address if your name doesn't link to it). The competition will run until Tuesday 23rd November. I can't wait to see what your favourite traditions are!!

Oh and can I just say a huge thanks to Greta from Vela Images for generously letting me use her family picture for my mockups!! Sooo cute!!

I would love a chance to win these! My favorite tradition involves ornaments. My husband and I try to buy an ornament when we travel so decorating the tree is like a wonderful walk down memory lane :-)

My favorite Christmas tradition is making sweets like fudge and cookies with my mom. We give some away as gifts, but save plenty to snack on on Christmas day :)

Oh my gosh, these are incredible!!!!! I have so many favorite Christmas traditions, but if I had to choose just one, it would be driving around to see all the Christmas lights on Christmas eve. It is such a special time with family and really sets the holiday mood:) Ooh, I hope I win, I hope I win!

One of the most important family traditions for me would be to wake up on Christmas morning with my parents and brothers and share presents. I miss it and Christmas always makes me wish I wasn't living so far away. For me, Christmas is about family and friends so now, our new tradition in NZ is to gather all the 'orphans' - those who don't have their family around for Christmas and have a BBQ lunch at our home. So we are not alone.

PS: those are really cute cards Kate!

I'd love to win. My favorite tradition id finding the pickle ornament on the tree. My parents have done this for our family for years and it is so fun even as an adult to see who can find it first. Plus a special prize is included if you find it.

Our favourite thing to do on Christmas Eve is to leave a Christmas mince pie and a bottle of beer out for Santa..as we now have a log fire we have to leave the door sligtly open! Lisa.

As I grew older, and especially when I went off to college, the tradition of picking our Christmas tree become more and more magical.

We would, as a family, devote an entire Saturday to choosing the ideal tree (color, shape, height and needle-prickiness were all discuss at length), chopping it down ourselves, tying it to the family car and wedging the monstrous tree through the door.

Once we got it in, we would light a fire in the Franklin stove and pull out boxes of ornaments my parents have collected since they were children. We would string lights and hang ornaments until the tree sparkled in the light, and then would eat a beautiful meal together.

I must confess, I'm tearing up just thinking about this! I'll be joining my parents on Christmas day this year, so I'll miss our big tree trimming event! What a wonderful giveaway, and an even better opportunity to reminisce.

My favorite tradition is Christmas Eve. My entire extended family gets together for traditional Polish Wilia supper. My great aunt picks up wafers from the church and we each take pieces of everyone's wafer and wish them something personal for the new year. The kids get to open family gifts and we all hang out and catch up. There is so much love in the room! Love it, and I would love to win these cards. This will be the first year I miss the holiday traditions.

My favorite tradition is still picking our Christmas tree and cutting out down ourselves! Last year we missed it, and it really left a gap in our holiday cheer!

OH Kate these are just adorable! Love them so very much. Since I am not really a "family" if I was to win I would give them to my sissy for her family ;-) But my favorite holiday tradition growing up was Aunt Millie's Christmas Eve Party. Seriously, my grandma was one of 8 so you can imagine the size of my family - over 100 people there with my mom playing the piano and everyone signing Christmas songs...my brother and I still talk about it to this day! However, my new fave tradition is going up into the woods and cutting down the perfect tree! I pack hot chocolate and cider and some snacks and we make an event out of it. Love that time searching for the perfect tree!!!
