Modern Orange & Blue Invitations

Hello there!! How is your week going? I spent a day without water yesterday which was interesting... had just filled the kettle and my water bottle, and then it went! We're on tank water so as soon as something goes wrong with the pump - or we lose power - we also lose water. Finally late in the afternoon it got sorted... thank goodness. Don't think I'd want to be without running water for too long!

This is a custom design I worked on earlier in the year, combining some classic flourish motifs, with a preppy stripe and a monogram... all wrapped up in one fun package! Amber was inspired by my Ruby & Willow logo and wanted to use part of that for their design so that was kinda fun!

Berkshire Invitation Suite in Cornflower & Mocha

Is anyone as glad as I am that it's Friday? This week hasn't quite gone to plan for me... but that happens sometimes doesn't it!! Looking forward to what will hopefully be a sunny weekend hanging out with the hubs and the pup... I'm craving some sun and warmth!! I showed the Berkshire design in green a couple of weeks ago, and today I have it in a cornflower blue with mocha. Amazing how different designs can look in when done in another colour way.

Introducing | Berkshire

If you follow me on facebook at all, you may have seen my post about giving myself food poisoning (very clever right?).... oh and the husband although he doesn't seem to feel as bad as me which is only fair I guess. So I consequently spent all of yesterday moaning and groaning through the day - much to Charlie's complete bewilderment (oh and thank goodness for Mother-in-laws who live around the corner and adore your puppy and want to take them for walks ALL the time!!) and my regret. Really hoping to wake up this morning feeling on top of the world... really can't afford another day of doing nothing... there's invites to be designed, letterpress to be done, magazines to be laid up.

Today's invite is another new one for the Collection Range. Berkshire, a somewhat classic but refined design, perfect for an elegant garden soiree.

Some of you may recognise this invite design from the Bridesmaids Brunch the {MAG}rouge team created for Issue 3. I designed it for that shoot and have decided to add it to the Collection range. I love it in this fresh summery combination.

Green and Brown Modern Typography Invitation

I LOVED working on this fun design!! James and Kellie are getting married on their family farm so we incorporated a wee barn motif as well as a rabbit - which are apparently in abundance there! Kraft envelopes and twine were used to bring in the rustic farm feeling, with the invite itself using a variety of fun fonts, on a warm ivory stock.

So I've been beavering away over the past few weeks working on some new collection designs and finally getting around to taking photos for a lot of recent custom work. I'll be sharing them over the next few weeks, and today I'm kickstarting it off with Grace... an elegant and somewhat classic design.
