Board#98: Christmas Candy

You knew I was going to milk this one didn't you? Surely!! Whilst the shoot that Simply Bloom did was for winter inspiration I think these colours work pretty well for a summery Christmas... the kind we have downunder if the weather is kind to us. This week has been almost unbearable hot and sticky so who knows what we're in for Christmas day? The lead up to the holiday season has been quite frantic for me and I'm making a promise to myself next year to learn to say NO, and to set a far earlier cut off date for jobs... as it inevitably goes past whatever I set. Being this busy I'm afraid to say has taken a lot of the fun and excitement out of the season and I'm am less prepared than I've ever been! So today with the majority of jobs out the door, I'm hanging with my 8 yr old niece... she's going to be my helper... and perhaps I'll finally get a tree and some decorations up... and perhaps even buy a present or two... and baking...well that would be  nice but possibly wishful thinking! Friday will be food shopping and sorting food out. Posting will be light over the next few weeks but there will be little snippets here and there, and I have one more Christmas wish list to share with you tomorrow. Right now my main Christmas wish is sleep... lots of it!!

Kate, this is another beautiful board just like the rest. As a kiwi bride myself i want to thank you so much for your contributions to the growing world of NZ wedding blogging/inspiration. You keep me inspired even tho my wedding has been and gone. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see whats in store for Magnolia Rouge in 2011!

I can only agree with miss C. - 2010 has been an eye-opener for me and it has a lot to do with finding this blog, finding you on twitter and getting this group of inspiring people.
Following your blog has been one of the greatest journeys for me as a bride-to-be and I know I will keep signing in even when the wedding is over just like Miss C does! :)

Интернет пишется с большой буквы внутри предложения, если что. И сотые не с точкой, а с запятой. Это по стандарту. А так неплохо все, просто вэри гуд!
