DIY Sunshine Coast Wedding by Emily Adamson...

We're crossing the pond today for this charming DIY wedding from Emily Adamson. I love the fresh herb idea they've used here... and of course the kraft paper covered tables!! But what really stands out to me with this wedding, is the emotion in the images which Emily has captured beautifully!

From Emily: I have been close friends with Stefanie for many years and together with Wedding Planner Liane Ritenis, Stefanie and I exchanged many emails about wedding plans, details and our excitement. We actually only had around two months to pull it all together, so that Mark and Stef could have a wedding which was exactly the way they wanted it. Personal, meaningful and in one of their favourite places in the world. The wedding was held on the Sunshine Coast, while Liane lives in Sydney, Stefanie lives in Melbourne and I live in Queenstown New Zealand, so some of the planning emails got quite complicated... Luckily we had family living on the Sunshine coast to help take delivery of all the things we posted, make signs, find 80 recycled Mason style jars, source local flowers, put macarons in bags, pour drinks and much more.

That is one of things that makes a diy wedding so special, everyone helping out, everyone working together. Mark and Stefanie hosted a beautiful, memorable wedding, that was full of tears and laughter.

This is the second time I ahve gone over these photos and I love them. I don't know the couple who were married but they must be so very happy with the day and Emily's pictures of the day. Without being too weird I tear up when I see the photo of the bride with tears in her eyes.

What a FUN wedding. Fun is the first word that came to mind. I love her dress, their laid back yet formal attire, the simple yet DELICIOUS looking cake. I love this.
