Today's wedding takes us to a land far far away. It crosses the boundaries between a travel post and a wedding post. I lived in the UK for 8 years and did a lot of travelling, and whilst Iceland was always high on my list of places to visit I never quite made it there. I was mad keen on landscape photography and as you can see by these stunning images from our friends at Nordica Photography, Iceland is certainly a site to behold. Hopefully one day I'll make it there but in the meantime I will have to live vicariously through weddings like this!
Becky & Ymir wanted a big adventure in Iceland, culminating in their wedding. With guests travelling such a distance to be there with them they wanted to ensure they got to see the country and with the ceremony held in the great outdoors with glacial backdrops they certainly did. Although it sounds like they were lucky to see what they did considering there was a volcanic eruption only weeks earlier threatening to put a damper on the venue!
I hope you enjoy the drama of these incredible and stunning photos! And a big thanks to Nordica for sharing with us!

There's something about the rugged beauty of Iceland that speaks directly to my soul. You don;t need much else when you have scenery like that!
Incredibly beautiful.
How breathtaking–the scenery just can't be beat!
WOW. Now that is one hell of a backdrop! Makes me want to jump on a plane!
Simply gorgeous coverage.
