European inspired shoot by Meredith Lord

Both today's features are by photographers I recently had the pleasure of meeting. A few weeks back I had the opportunity to sit down with Hawkes Bay based photographer Meredith Lord over coffee when she came up to Auckland for a few days... and what a treasure. I felt like we were old friends! Meredith had this to say about the shoot... (oh and can I just add how much I LOVE that bouquet... especially the addition of the hellebores!).

A group of wedding vendors here in Hawkes Bay wanted to put together something that was slightly different from the typical winery wedding that Hawkes Bay is so well known for - so we chose Summerlee. In its past life it was the homestead of a sheep station located on the edge of the coast. These days it been tastefully restored and used as luxury accommodation - it's a little bit Tuscan and a little bit French Country and would be the most amazing venue for an intimate summer wedding.

Venue | Summerlee - Blackbarn, Photographer | Meredith Lord, Makeup | Cushla Bower, Hair | Caroline Gichard, Florist | Kim McMillan - Lushka, Stationery | The Copy Company, Dress | RSVP Bridal Couture, Cake | Dish Catering
