Board#32: Etoile

Happy Monday everyone!!! I'm running a little late this morning as it's a holiday here in Auckland (and someone might have stayed up to watch the tennis!!), and a VERY wet and wild one at that. I can't complain as summer has been awesome but feel bad for all those people who have headed away camping!! Good excuse to stay in and curl up with a good book.

Anyway a pretty little board to lift you out of the drizzle/downpour, featuring one of our new invitation designs, Etoile. And for more eye candy to brighten your morning, head over to Fiona's blog for her latest and greatest wedding...I can see this is going to be a regular thing... once again outstanding, beautiful, drop dead gorgeous photos (can someone please come up with some more superlatives??).

Board#30: Fresh as a cucumber

Happy Monday! Well I hope you all have a more fun Monday planned than I do! After spending all weekend packing and shifting boxes, today is the big official move. Serial house movers....how do you do it? All that wrapping, packing, loading boxes and countless trips up or down stairs is seriously exhausting! And unfortunately this is but a temporary move and we'll have to do it again in the next few months!! Oh how I look forward to that.
Anyhooo, today's board. Fresh, crisp and pretty green and white with a touch of pewter or silver. Rather than pairing it with black which could make it quite harsh, I love it with an antique dull silver. Think galvanised pales filled with white hydrangeas and fresh green chrysanthemums. I would love to see tablescapes with an eclectic assortment of antique silver/pewter collectables, with fresh white blooms and green foliage. And cucumber sandwiches.....brings back fond childhood memories. Sorry credits are very lacking today....have had most of these images saved from long before my blogging days!

What's your wedding style? V

If you're just joining us check out the rest of our 'What's your Wedding Style' series here. Mini snippets of colour and inspiration with stationery to match!

We've gone all girly today's with a feast of pretty botanical invitations. Flowers feature heavily in wedding invitations, and the use of vintage style etchings is a style I'm particularly fond of. I like the unexpected addition of the ochre/pale gold in this board. Whilst the pink and burgundy go well with the grey, the goldy tones give it a lighter dimesion. Who says you can't mix gold and silver right? There are no rules when it comes to colour as long as you do it right!! And that basket of wraps - who wouldn't be thrilled to turn up to a wedding and have that to snuggle up with in the evening... I know I would!
