These are lovely! How about "Papilio" (Latin for 'butterfly') or "Avis" (Latin for 'bird')?
oooh I do like Papilio - thanks!
"Love & Fly" or "Birdsong-Lovesong"
It is hard to name an invitation. Will have to think more :D
I like Michelle's options though :D
The only french word that stuck with me after high school was Oiseau. It means bird. i just love the way it sounds {pronounced wa-zoh}
You could also write in "phonetic" which bring a little bit of mystery.
"Wazoh" is kind of cool. And totally different. And yeah, it does mean bird in French.
ok, firstly 'oiseau' is rather beautiful....wazoh - hilarious. Makes me laugh! Mmm this could be an interesting decision!
only problem is if you name it oiseau, the lay-person might not get the pronunciation. On the other hand it could be a learning curve for them if they choose that design
Hi Kate! I think that Michelle has the nicest idea... When I looked at the bird and butterfly it made me think of the word
species - which is totally ugly but what about Darwin? (as in Charles - not that I am an evolutionist!)
I really think you could call it:
[Wa-Zoh]
with the brackets. It's different! And could be nicely "designed" with the font you choose!
OK, I should really be working but what about Fauna or Woodlands??
Thanks girls! These names are great, I can see I'm going to have a few to keep in reserve for future designs. I'm quite liking Darwin as well!
It is quite a quirky design, so I think something like..."Fly me to the moon"...sounds like it could be an OPI nail polish!
im not sure how you name your designs generally but i think its cool how OPI names all the colours in a range along with the theme. you could choose all NZ native flora/fauna names or french place names, whatever you fancy for a group of designs?
Hi, what about "Nature's rest" (or does it sound like the name of a B&B in the Lake District!?!).
